Blessed with high water solubility and excellent chelating and sequestering property, it seperates theundesirable metal ions by forming a strong coordinate bond. This assists the effectiveness anddurability of the product’s formulation. Being homogeneous, non-flammable & crystalline acid(only available as an aquous solution), it is widely used as a softening agent in water treatmentprocesses and as an antiscalant by inhibiting the precipitation of salts. It is efficiently used inremoving scales from boilers, evaporators, heat exchangers, filter clothes etc.It is profoundly used in removing magnetite scale, in heat exchangers of power stations or inheating circuits and is much superior to the sodium salt in this respect.
