Light Diesel Oil, or LDO, is a blend of components from the distillation process of crudeoil. It is used in engines, mining machineries, boilers and furnaces because of its lawviscosity and ash content. It passes through nozzle easily and burns continually andsmoothly. It does not have issues of choke up and carbon contamination. LDO is alsoreferred to as distillate fuel or marked oil. Light diesel oil is used as fuels in manyapplications:
